National dialogue table for peace in Nicaragua .

MANAGUA, Nicaragua.- The opposition sectors participating in the National dialogue table for peace in Nicaragua rejected a proposal aimed at ending violence in the country.

The agreement initiative was based on the representatives of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, trade union-corporate and agricultural producers, who advocated non-violence wherever they come from, the free movement of people and the right to work.

Nicaraguan Chancellor Denis Moncada, Government’s representative at the National dialogue table for peace, said this agreement is of paramount importance and should be considered in a humanitarian spirit for stability, peace, security and coexistence, in order to end the tension the country is experiencing.

However, the Bureau of Dialogue unanimously agreed to assume the fifteen recommendations from a mission of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights at the end of its work visit.
