Immigrants reach the U.S. border.

TIJUANA BEACHES, Mexico. – After crossing the states of Sinaloa and Sonora on trucks escorted by the Mexican Federal Police, the first contingent of the Central American migrant caravan arrived this Tuesday at the border of the American state of Arizona.

This group of 450 Central Americans, mainly Hondurans and Salvadorans, includes men and women, children, adolescents and older adults, who plan to apply for political asylum in the United States.

Meanwhile, the Government of President Donald Trump decided in recent days to reinforce the custody of its southern border with 5600 soldiers and to that effect he signed a decree to prevent the passage of the caravan.
