MANAGUA, Nicaragua. – Representatives of the 22 delegations at the 23rd meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum, paid homage this Monday to Nicaraguan hero Augusto Cesar Sandino and the founders of the Sandinista National Liberation Front.
The participants in the meeting of the Latin American left deposited this morning a floral offering in the mausoleum where the remains of Commanders Carlos Fonseca Amador, Tomas Borge and Colonel Santos Lopez are.
Meanwhile, Puerto Rican independant Oscar Lopez Rivera remarked the courage and sacrifice of men who managed to liberate Nicaragua from the Somoza dictatorship, and set an example for the revolutionary processes of the region and the world.
The 23rd meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum began this Sunday in Managua with more than 300 delegates from 32 countries.
