Caracas, Venezuela.- Cuban president, Miguel Diaz-Canel, flew back to the Caribbean nation after participating in the investiture of his Venezuelan peer, Nicolas Maduro.

From the international airport Simon Bolivar of Maiquetia, the Cuban head of State said farewell to Venezuelan territory where he arrived Wednesday night to accompany the protocol ceremony of the ceremony of Maduro’s second presidential period.

Today, the Venezuelan president was ratified in his post by the Supreme Court of Justice running fromn 2019-2025.

Through his account in the Twitter social network, the Cuban president said ‘it is not possible to underestimate the great deployment of resources of our historic adversaries to prevent progressive and popular forces from being in government’.

The hour of looking back and the united march of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America-Trade Treaty of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP) to preserve peace and regional sovereignty, also wrote Diaz-Canel.
