BOGOTA, Colombia.- In order to lower the intensity of the armed conflict emerged 54 years ago, the Colombian National Liberation Army urged the Government of President Ivan Duque to agree to a cessation of hostilities.

In a statement released through its digital portal Voces, the guerrilla leadership pointed out that a new bilateral truce will bring positive national repercussions, especially in the most affected regions by the war.

The source specified that 37 thousand articles were confiscated this year, mainly clothing, textiles and footwear, as well as important volumes of alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and different types of food, such as cheeses and meats.
