BEIJING, China.- China reiterated its support for the Venezuelan Government and called on internal and external forces to respect the sovereign decisions of the people to choose their leaders and the path of development themselves.

Hua Chunying, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, greeted President Nicolas Maduro’s announcement to boost economic recovery and considered this initiative will lead to a rise in the quality of life of the population.

Hua reaffirmed the support to Venezuela to explore a model of progress akin to its national conditions and insisted on non-interference in domestic affairs.

The Chinese spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted that China is ready to work on the search for ways to manage Venezuela’s internal situation through political and peaceful dialogue; and reaffirmed the support of the Asian giant against the attempts of the Venezuelan opposition for not knowing the new Government of Maduro.
