LA PAZ. Bolivia.- Bolivian politicians warned that the request for a US intervention by the local opposition to avoid the re-election of President Evo Morales constitutes the second attempt to destroy that nation.

Members of the Movement for Socialism assured that opponents are afraid because the Bolivian Head of State is the strongest candidate for elections, because of the achievements of its political management since 2006.

They considered that the political, social, and economic stability generated by Morales-led policies are the best argument to be re-elected by the people next October 20.

Recently, 12 Bolivian opposition legislators sent a letter to US President Donald Trump asking him to intercede to avoid a possible re-election of the Bolivian President.
