CARACAS, Venezuela.- Behind the terrorist groups that destroy a State, there are actors who seek to place a puppet government akin to the interests of the American empire, according to Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez.

According to Padrino, the goal of the Latin American countries is to preserve their sovereignty and independence from empires that want to destabilize and appropriate their wealth.

“The challenges that all nation-states have to preserve our sovereignty, our independence, is a task of every country, of all nations,” the Minister says, emphasizing that empires seek to destabilize and destroy them.

Venezuela, which has been the victim of a mild coup, has responded with the strong patriotic conscience that, according to the Venezuelan Defense Minister, is key to endure such external attacks.
