Havana, Cuba.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, today highlighted the work of Cuban doctors in Mozambique sent by the island after the recent passage of cyclone Idai.
‘One month after the start of operations, more than 14,700 medical consultations have been given at the Cuban field hospital in Mozambique, and 166 surgical interventions have been carried out.
‘An example of the solidarity we defend,’ he wrote on his Twitter account.
The Brigade 28 of the Henry Reeve Contingent consists of 16 doctors, 22 licensed and two service personnel.
