Havana, Cuba.-The updating of the music industry and legal procedures to introduce Cuban artists to audiences abroad tops the agenda of Front Line sessions at Habanarte Festival today.

According to Ela Ramos, the event is focused on promoting national cultural products and is a co-production between Cuban and foreign artistic agencies.

‘A showcase will be prepared with 15 Cuban artistic groups chosen from 30 competitions,’ Ramos said.

In exclusive statements to Prensa Latina, Spanish businessman, Antonio Martinez, explained that businessmen are very interested in the quality of Cuban musicians and the gender diversity that exists in the country.

The meeting will act as a showcase to promote Cuban art among foreign experts, Deputy Culture Minister, Fernando Rojas, said in a recent meeting with reporters.

The second Habanarte Festival has been attended by more than 10,000 people with more than 1,300 foreign participants.
