Cuba, Venezuela evaluate strategies against U.S. blockade

The Chancellors of Cuba and Venezuela review cooperation against U.S. blockade.

BAKU, Azerbaijan. – The Chancellors of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, and Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held a meeting in Baku to evaluate joint strategies, in order to counter the aggressions of the United States.

The exchange took place during the ministerial meeting prior to the 18th Summit of Heads of States and Governments of the Non-Aligned Movement, held in the Azerbaijani capital.

Rodriguez and Arreaza analyzed the consequences of the blockade imposed by the United States, and agreed to protect their nations from these coercive and unilateral measures, which seek to stifle peoples

The head of the Venezuelan diplomacy urged members of the Non-Aligned Movement to reaffirm the principles of non-intervention in internal affairs of countries, respect for cultural, religious diversity and human rights for peace and development.
