Broad day of activities of Diaz-Canel in Moscow

MOSCOW, Russia.- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez participated in the award of the Medal of Friendship to a part of the team of Russian specialists who participated in the restoration of the National Capitol of Cuba and the Statue of the Republic.

At the conclusion of the event of decorations in the Ibero-American Cultural Center in Moscow, the Cuban President inaugurated  in the same place the exhibition titled True to My Havana, by artist Yosvany Martinez, a tribute to the 500 years of the Cuban capital, and a homage to Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.

Diaz-Canel then shared with Cubans living in Russia, a regular space on each of his trips abroad.

The Cuban President’s visit to Russia is part of a tour of several European countries, which included his participation in the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
