HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, participated this Thursday in the annual balance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, where he spoke about salary and prices, one of the main problems affecting currently the Cuban population.
The Cuban head of State said it is necessary to work in both directions: on the one hand, being more efficient and increase production, and on the other, start to gradually raising salaries.
Diaz-Canel plead for a different dynamic of economic growth, the production of goods from the contribution of export services, as well as a better dynamism of the wage-price ratio.
During the meeting the Cuban President criticized the work of corrupt inspectors who check the work of more than 500,000 people who currently exercise self-employment in the country.
