Havana, Cuba.- The number of patients recovered from Covid-19 in Cuba increased to 1,505 with the addition of 10 new medical discharges, the Ministry of Public Health said today.

Francisco Durán, director of Epidemiology of that entity, communicated both figures in the daily press conference to update on the impact of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus in this Caribbean country.

The total of 1,505 recovered is significant because it exceeds those confirmed with said disease in Cuba, the doctor expanded after the 1,951 tests carried out yesterday.

He stressed that the day before, for the fifth consecutive day, there were no deaths to regret, and the number of deaths from the deadly disease in the largest of the Antilles remained at 79.

On the other hand, Durán explained that of the patients diagnosed with the condition, 286 present stable clinical evolutions, and there are two in critical condition and seven serious.

Again, the doctor urged Cubans to comply with protective measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
