HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, received Republican senator Jeff Flake and the executive president of Google, Eric Emerson Schmidt.

During the meeting, they exchanged about the state of bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States, as well as the possible cooperation areas of mutual interest and the negative impact of the setback occurred. They also addressed issues of international relevance.

The American visitors were attended by Philip Goldberg, Chargé d’affaires of the United States in Cuba, and the adviser of the President of Google, Brett Andrew Perlmutter.

For the Cuban side they were present the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and the Director General of the United States of the Chancellery, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio Dominguez.
