Havana woke up calm under a sunny blue sky on Sunday after two nights of celebrations for its 500th anniversary; music, dance, a spectacular display of fireworks and much joy marked a much awaited event.
The Cuban company Acosta Dance is presenting on Saturday at the Festival Theater in the city of St. Pölten, Austria, a performance with which it begins a tour in Europe. During the tour, which will last until October 5, the group directed by the dancer Carlos Acosta proposes a varied program with recognized pieces from his repertoire.
