Havana, Cuba.- Cuba’s President Miguel Diaz-Canel expressed support with Trinidad-Tobago and Venezuela after the 6.3 degree earthquake that struck Yaguaraparo, Venezuelan state of Sucre, on Tuesday early evening.

Tweets from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicate, the Cuban Head of State conveyed his government’s willingness to help with everything in their power.

The messages underline that Cuban professionals working in both nations are ready to help and take care of any emergency.

The earthquake struck at 17:30 local time Tuesday and was also felt in the states of Nueva Esparta, Monagas, Bolivar, Delta Amacuro, Aragua, Carabobo and the Capital District. By midnight there was no human loss reported.
