HAVANA, Cuba.-The Ambassador of the Republic of Namibia in Havana Jeroboam Shaanika said that it is an honor for his country to host the fifth Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, as Cubans deserve it for the help given to Africans throughout these years.
In a meeting at the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) in Havana, the diplomat added the sessions will be dedicated to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, who will always be an example for all peoples and especially for young people.
Fernando Gonzalez, head of ICAP, reported on the fifth Continental meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, from June 5 to 7 in Windhoek, Namibia.
The meeting will send a message from the African people to demand to the United States Government the end of the blockade imposed on Cuba, and the claim for the return of the territory illegally occupied at Guantanamo.
