HAVANA, Cuba. – Independent expert on human rights and international solidarity of the United Nations, Virginia Dandan, highlighted this Tuesday the training of foreign human resources in Cuba and the country’s experience in this area.

During a meeting with Cuban vice-minister of Higher Education Oberto Santin, the official valued the importance of professional technical training in the development of countries.

A press release from the Ministry of Higher Education pointed out the Philippine expert visiting Cuba also exchanged the design of the university careers´ curricula and human rights training.

For his part, Santin explained that Cuban specialists take part in cooperation projects, academic networks and international scholarships, which contribute to the development of human and material resources for all participating institutions.
