TANZAS, Cuba. – Elba Rosa Perez, Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), said this Tuesday in Matanzas that the State Plan to confront climate change is a coherent response to all strategic thinking about the problem.

It is precisely the institutional support for all that has been done for years in Cuba, and which has now turned scientific results into proposals to the government, the Minister noted.

The program also known as Tarea Vida, was approved by the Council of Ministers last April 25, and it will be presented to the National Assembly of People’s Power, at its next working session.

The Cuban Minister of CITMA affirmed I think that it is a strength of the Cuban nation that in the midst of all the national and international debate, we are able to present, analyze and discuss the subject with the main authorities in every province.
