Rogelio Sierra exposed the Cuban position to Almagro´s views.

HAVANA, Cuba. – The Cuban Government strongly rejected the interfering statements made in Miami by the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, on the Cuban electoral system.

“The OAS Secretary General has no credibility to judge what we, the Cuban government and people do,” Rogelio Sierra, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs said answering to Almagro, who tried to delegitimize the democratic process in Cuba, while supporting the campaigns of the Cuban counterrevolution and its allies.

Sierra denounced that Almagro was a silent accomplice to the U.S. Secretary of State, who supported a possible military coup in Venezuela and defended the validity of the Monroe doctrine.

“Cuba will go its own way. No one can bend it even if they dream of, submissive and servile, as the current secretary General of the OAS”, said the Cuban chancellor.
