HAVANA, Cuba. – Cuban Vice-President Salvador Valdes Mesa, accompanied by Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Abelardo Moreno Fernandez, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of Iran in Havana, to condemn the terrorist attacks perpetrated in that country last Wednesday.

Valdes Mesa, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, expressed the most heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of Iran, especially the relatives of the victims, for the terrorist attacks on the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum.

The high official reiterated Cuba’s condemnation of every act, method and practice of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
