WASHINGTON, USA.- The United States celebrates this Monday the Martin Luther King´s Day, that civil rights defender capable of imagining and promoting a world based on economic, political and social justice.
Such ideas were related to quality education, decent housing and good jobs, according to Taylor Branch, a university professor and author of a trilogy about the life of Reverend King.
As it has happened since 2000 in the USA in an official way, during the day there would be evocations of the work of the renowned activist, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
Also, in social networks and other Internet spaces allegorical messages, quotations of speeches and crucial moments of the life of King were exposed. Martin Luther King Jr.´s Day is celebrated every third Monday in January.
