ZARAGOZA, Spain. – The work of Cuban hero Jose Marti, and his contributions to essential principles for the improvement of the human being, were distinguished by personalities in Zaragoza, Spain.

Marti was a founder of thoughts, and his ethical burden has an undeniable value in the search for alternatives to the dangerous situation the contemporary world lives in, Hector Hernandez Pardo, deputy Director General of the Marti Program Office of Cuba said.

During the inauguration at the University of Zaragoza of the Thirteen Meeting of the World Council of Jose Marti Project of International Solidarity, Hernandez Pardo recalled the Cuban patriot not only wanted the independence of Cuba, but that of Puerto Rico.

His political plan went further, and ended with the integration of Latin America in order to achieve the balance of the world, the also coordinator of the Jose Marti Project.
