MEXICO CITY, Mexico.-The Secretary of the Interior in Mexico, Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, highlighted this Thursday the advances in solutions ordered by President Enrique Pena Nieto, to expedite the recovery and attention in all areas affected by the earthquake occurred last week.

Osorio Chong estimated that two 1.3 million people are affected, 800,000 of them in Oaxaca and one and a half million in Chiapas, and confirmed that the victims remain 98, without missing persons being reported.

The Secretary of the Interior in Mexico added they continue visiting places, analyzing everything, and he recognized they have not reached all the communities involved in this great natural disaster.

He added that the census of the affected houses should be ready this weekend to start the reconstruction process immediately.
