Havana, Cuba.- An Anti-Imperialist Tide will take place here tomorrow from social networks to ‘make visible and promote international support and solidarity with Cuba and other just causes,’ the organizers reported today.

The activity is part of the agenda of the Anti-Imperialist Meeting, of Solidarity, for Democracy and against Neoliberalism that will take place from Friday to Sunday in Havana, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (Icap) reported on its website.

Social networks are today a battle space that adds to this scenario and are used to alienate people, discredit our leaders and processes and silence our messages, highlights the call.

The document urges sharing anti-imperialist and solidarity messages from 3:00 p.m. local time through all personal digital networks and spaces with the tags #ManosFueraDeCuba, #SeguimosEnLucha and #MareaAntiimperialista.

Cuba will host from November 1 to 3 more than one thousand representatives of social movements, solidarity organizations, political forces and various sectors that will discuss the challenges of the left and other issues.

The attendees will also analyze how to build the greatest unity of the progressive forces to face the threats of the international right and in defense of the peoples.

The program includes an intervention by the Cuban head of Foreign Relations and the call for an Anti-Imperialist Tide Hands Outside Cuba.

It also includes the Challenges panel for an articulation of our struggles, and six thematic commissions aimed at shaping the action plan.

All discussions will take place at the Convention Center located in Havana, with the exception of the commission ‘Solidarity with Cuba and?’ which will be based at the Latin American School of Medicine, detailed the Icap.
