Protesters camped in Curitiba offer support to Lula.

CURITIBA, Brazil.- Participants in the Lula Free Vigil, who for more than two months offer their support to the imprisoned former Brazilian President, reaffirmed that they will remain in Curitiba, despite the threats of eviction by force.

The protesters camped in the vicinity of the superintendence of the Federal Police in Curitiba, where Luis Inacio Lula da Silva serves as a political prisoner, made an effort to adapt the structure of the vigil and now maintain only two tents.

They demand the authorities the right to remain with this minimal structure in order to meet their main contact with society, which is solidarity and the daily receipt of donations.

This supportive action to Lula is such that he has received the visit of personalities such as Nobel Peace Prize winner Adolfo Perez Esquivel, actor Danny Glover, theologian Leonardo Boff and actress Lucelia Santos.
