MEXICO CITY, Mexico.- The President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, reiterated that his Government’s position is immovable and continues to be based on the Juaristas principles of external relations.

Non-intervention, self-determination of peoples, peaceful settlement of disputes, and hence we do not move, the President repeated. He also recognized that Mexico’s foreign policy was not handled wisely before, and without giving them anything, they offered to be mediators in all the conflicts in the world.

Lopez Obrador said the best foreign policy is that of the interior, and that the right thing is to have relations of friendship with all Governments, with all the peoples of the world, not confront, and no hegemonic politics, or attack or join blocks.

The Mexican President added that his country has a good foreign policy defined by its history from Juarez and he will maintain it, there are no variations.
