CARACAS, Venezuela,. The Back to Homeland Plan, a government program promoted by the Venezuelan Executive to repatriate the migrant conational in conditions of vulnerability, received ample international support, the Chancellery said.

In a press release, the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that during the 69th session of the Executive Committee of the Program of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva, Switzerland, countries such as Bolivia, Russia, Syria, Yemen, Cuba, Nicaragua among others commended the repatriation initiative.

The Venezuelan delegation provided the participants to the Forum information on the reality of the migratory issue.

The representative of Bolivia, Ruddy Flores, on behalf of several nations condemned any initiative that would disturb Venezuela’s peace and democratic stability and threaten its sovereignty.
