NEW YORK, USA.- The legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution is still alive and an example to people fighting for a better and fairer world. That was emphasized at an evening held at the venue of Cuba’s mission to the United Nations.

Photos of different moments from the Cuban leader’s revolutionary trajectory, captured by Prensa Latina, were exhibited to pay tribute to Fidel on the third anniversary of his death.

Cuba’s Second Mission Secretary to the United Nations, Jorge Luis Cepero, asserted that Fidel is a symbol of anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggle throughout the world.

For his part, the leader of the New York-New Jersey Cuba Si Coalition, Ike Nahem, emphasized that in these times it is urgent to study Fidel’s thoughts and actions, his principles, his beliefs, his solidarity, his revolutionary ideas.
