HANOI, Vietnam. – China awaits the emergence of substantial steps towards denuclearization during the summit that will be held this Wednesday by the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Kim Jong-Un, and US President Donald Trump.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Presidents to make further progress by taking into account the consensus at their first meeting last year, in order to also materialize the peace and lasting stability of the Korean peninsula.

A few hours ago the President of the United States arrived in Vietnam for the important meeting, while the leader of North Korea also arrived in that nation after a long train journey of more than 60 hours.

Today the world looks closely at the second meeting between Kim Jong-Un and Donald Trump, hoping that may be a progress in disarmament at that part of the world.
