LA PAZ, Bolivia. – The President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, promulgated the law for the financing of the Mutun Steel Project, which will guarantee some 1500 direct jobs and more than 3000 indirect.

This ensures the construction, execution and implementation of the first steel industry in the Andean-Amazonian nation, whose work will be in charge of Sinosteel Equipment and Engineering Company, in the municipality of Puerto Suarez.

The industry will be built in 30 months, and delivered in operation by China’s experts at 42 months, the Bolivian President said in his speech.

Morales noted this is a day not to forget, guaranteeing investment for the industrialization of iron, and he added that when it accompanies economic growth, it is possible to guarantee large investments.
