Migrants were detained on U.S. soil.

EL PASO, USA – More than 400 Central American migrants crossed this Tuesday from Mexico to U.S. territory by El Paso, Texas, where they waited for hours before being driven by the Border Patrol to immigration positions to ask for asylum.

Several members of the caravan told to the Mexican media the inability to cross to the United States by Tijuana, in Baja California, because of the attacks of the American Border Guard.

The group that penetrated the United States on Tuesday moved towards a point of the border where there is no wall and managed to advance by American soil, in spite of the low temperatures and the strong icy wind that predominates in the region, until they were led to immigration offices where they expect to ask for asylum.

Less than a week ago the Border Patrol in the Tijuana region repressed with tear gas and rubber bullets a group of migrants who tried to enter the United States, while President Trump continues to maneuver to get money for his projected border wall.
