Bangkok, Thailand.- Thailand will make up a special committee to supervise future film versions of the rescue of the 12 football players and their coach, Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat said.

Five international film producers were offered to the Ministries of Commerce and Foreign Affairs to make a film and a documentary about the rescue operation of the youngsters trapped in a flooded cave in the north of the country, assured the Minister.

The committee will be integrated by representatives of the Culture, Trade, Tourism and Sports portfolios.

That entity will ensure the accuracy of the narrative, the rights of the boys and their coach, the rescuers and other related agencies, as well as the image of Thailand, Vira told The Nation newspaper.

We will support national and international film adaptations on Wild Boar, as the football team is named, if they abide by Thai laws, the Minister said.
