Evo says he won the election thanks to the popular vote.

LA PAZ, Bolivia. – Bolivian President Evo Morales highlighted he won the election thanks to the popular vote, with more than 10 percent against opponent Carlos Mesa, and now they want to annul the elections.

Before October 20 election, the opposition was already planning to ignore the results, and in two lobbyists they said that “If Evo wins, we’re going to ignore the vote.”

A few days ago the first coup attempt failed, as the right disagrees with social progress. “They don’t want social projects that benefit the population, or the country’s economy progressing,” the Bolivian President said.

Through social and professional movements, together with the program of industrialization, Bolivia advances, develops, and now we want to boost export, for which each region has its particularity, Morales explained.
