CIEGO DE AVILA, Cuba.- More than sixty percent of the electoral authorities in Ciego de Avila province are women, which reiterates the trust placed in this population sector for tasks of essential importance.

Rodolfo Valenzuela, president of the Provincial Electoral Commission, said it is a satisfactory fact because it expresses the commitment of the women of the region to the Revolution.

Valenzuela added that about three thousand electoral authorities receive the third phase of training related to the elections of the municipal delegates of People´s Power during October.

The training of that staff, who will have the responsibility of matching and updating the voter lists, includes the appreciation of a video with practical exercises on the subject, and information from the address records.
