President of Cuba Receives Fiji Premier

The Cuban President received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, led the ceremony of receipt of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, Josaia Voreque Bainimarama, who pays an official visit to Cuba, at the Palace of Revolution.

After reviewing the honor guard of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and greeting the respective delegations, both leaders held official talks on bilateral relations and the international arena.

Previously, the also Minister of Indigenous Affairs and Sugar Cane Industry of Fiji paid tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, Jose Marti, with the placement of a floral offering at the Memorial dedicated to his life and work.

Cuba collaborates in the professional training of young people in the field of health, to contribute to the health care system in that territory of the southern Pacific Ocean.
