They Launch New Style Manual in Spain.

MADRID, Spain.- The Royal Academy of the Spanish language, RAE, launched the text titled Book of Style for digital writers, a manual of pan-Hispanic scope with recommendations for communication on social networks, media report.

The book was prepared in consensus by the 23 institutions composing the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language, and had an initial circulation of 10 thousand copies, by Espasa Spanish Publishing Company.

According to the honorary director of RAE, Victor Garcia de la Concha, the new style manual tries to solve the doubts produced by the continuous changes of the language in such punctual questions as grammar, genre, punctuation marks and abbreviations.

As a novelty, this volume highlights the section on ortho-typography and pronunciation and utterance, as well as a glossary with recommendations such as yutubero, by YouTuber, and curiosities.
