The Russia Minister of Defense thanked the operability of the Russian Senate.

MOSCOW, Russia. – Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced this Tuesday the beginning of the formation of a permanent military contingent in Syria, at the Jmeimm Air Base and the naval one of Tartu.

Regarding the centers which according to an agreement with Damascus passed under Russian control, Shoigu stated that recently Commander-in-chief Vladimir Putin ratified the structure and composition in the main points of basification.

The Russia Minister of Defense thanked the operability of the Russian Senate, which ratified the arrangement for the expansion of facilities in the port of Tartu to make it a naval base at the service of the Russian Navy.

The compromise includes the regulations for staff activity in Tartu, the entry and exit of ships, as well as their number and properties and the status of immunity of the Russian military in Syrian territory.
