BUENOS AIRES, Argentina.- The Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo declare today in the second section of the trial for crimes committed in former Campo de Mayo military hospital during the last civil-military dictatorship in Argentina.

For the second day, the Oral Court in Federal Criminal number 3 will continue the trial where Santiago Omar Riveros and Raul Martin are judged for the kidnapping and torments of eleven women and the theft of their children.

In that dark time of this nation, Santiago Riveros served as commander of military institutes and was responsible for the illegal repression in the so-called Defense Zone 4.

Raul Martín was a military physician at the Campo de Mayo military hospital, and he was acquitted in a previous trial, but now he answers for a greater number of victims, the Grandmothers pointed out.
