Commitment of Bolivian Government to people´s health .

LA PAZ, Bolivia.- The representative of the World and Pan American Health Organization in Bolivia, Fernando Leanes, highlighted the Government’s commitment to health and progress in ensuring these rights to the entire population.

The representative referred to the Bicentennial Agenda presented by President Evo Morales, who advocate for a more inclusive, participatory and democratic society and State, without social differences.

The agenda also includes issues such as the reduction of extreme poverty, socialization and universalization of basic services, health, education, sports, and scientific and technological sovereignty.

The Bolivian President pointed out that one hundred percent of the population has access to medical care after the promulgation of the Unique Health System, which guarantees that free service to more than half of the Bolivian population.
