LA PAZ, Bolivia. – Bolivian President Evo Morales ratified this Tuesday his Administration´s commitment to the development of education by delivering more than 5,000 laptops to high school-level students in Cochabamba Tropics.

In his speech, Morales recalled that access to education was one of the priority lines of work of the national Executive, since his arrival in the presidency in 2006.

According to the Bolivian President, the nationalization of hydrocarbons and the recovery of strategic companies, formerly in the hands of foreign companies, allows the country´s development and the investment of much of the profits in social works.

Those include the construction of educational centers throughout the country, as well as the provision of inputs to enhance the quality of education at all levels.
