Intellectuals issue Declaration against Interfering

LA PAZ, Bolivia.- The Declaration of Peace for Self-Determination, adopted in Bolivia by intellectuals, is a warning against foreign interference that threatens Latin America and the Caribbean.

Military, political and financial fences unfolded and woven now over Latin American societies are not random. Cases such as Venezuela and Cuba exemplify it very clearly, the document states.

The text adds that for those reasons they are in favor of the forthcoming elections to be held in the Plurinational State of Bolivia being marked by the strengthening of that self-determination.

Participants in the forum titled Trade War and Capitalist Crisis, Alternative Impacts for Latin America, closed last Wednesday, emphasized that in these elections the expulsion of violence should be given priority first and foremost as a conditioning mechanism for their results.
