President of Cuba attends closing of Symposium on the Cuban Revolution

HAVANA, Cuba.- With the presence of Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba, and after intense exchange days and debates, and the Third International Symposium The Cuban Revolution: Genesis and Historical Development concluded at the Havana Convention Palace.

During the closure, Elba Rosa Perez Montoya, Minister of Science, Technology and the Environment, reviewed the 151 years of revolutionary struggle, in spite of adversity, and no matter how great the challenges are and how powerful its enemies are.

The scientific program of the Third International Symposium included lectures, panels, book presentations and working tables, in which more than 80 papers were presented.

For three days, the forum brought together academics, political scientists, researchers and professors from universities and prestigious institutions in America, Europe and Asia in Havana.
