HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, participated this Monday in the annual balance of the Ministry of Communications.

The meeting analyzed the results of the work in 2018, considered a positive year, with growth in institutional connectivity, mobile telephony, Internet penetration, exports and international connectivity, a Twitter of the Cuban Presidency said.

Diaz-Canel expressed computerization also fosters a relationship with citizenship and government transparency, because as long as we have portals we will be giving constant information and promoting participation.

The head of State added that the best thing is that the process is integrated with social communication, because when we computerize, so do the media, becoming multimedia.
