Diaz-Canel attends annual balance of Ministry of Public Health.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, attended in Havana the annual work balance of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

Among the priorities of the sector is to advance in the rescue of the founding concepts of the Family Doctor-and-Nurse Program, as well as in the quality of services in polyclinics to satisfy more than 70% of the sanitary necessities of the population in primary care.

Improving the state of health of the people and increasing their satisfaction with the services they provide, is a priority of the Cuban health system.

Prior to the balance sheet of the MINSAP year’s work, the National Methodological Meeting of Municipal Health Directors was held in Havana, with important topics for the development of the sector.
