Havana, Cuba.- IberoStar Hotels & Resorts Chain, one of the Spanish companies with largest presence in Cuba, announced that hotels operated by the company on the cays north of the country will receive visitors regularly at the beginning of the high tourism season.
The information was announced on a press release issued by the consortium that says that the IberoStar Ensenachos hotel, in Santa Maria key; and the IberoStar Daiquiri and IberoStar Playa Pilar, at Guillermo key, will open their doors next November 1st, while the IberoStar Mojito hotel, in Coco key, will open on November 15th.
The statement adds that the reopening of these facilities takes place after a series of improvements in infrastructure carried out after the passage of Hurricane Irma by the Caribbean nation.
The note states that all the hotels of the company in Havana, Varadero, Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba are fully operational, maintain their quality standards and their occupancy level are rising.
This hotel group based in Palma de Mallorca currently owns about 100 facilities in 17 countries around the world, including Cuba, where it expects to expand its portfolio to 20 hotels by the end of 2017 and reach 12,000 rooms in 2020.
