Russian President Vladimir Putin.

MOSCOW, Russia.-At least two thirds of the Russians would re-elect President Vladimir Putin if elections were this Sunday, while 81 percent support his management, a survey of the Public Opinion Fund announced this Friday.

According to the study, Putin has a potential positive vote of 67 percent; his closest pursuer would be the leader of the Liberal Democrat Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

The top leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Guennadi Zyuganov, has three percent popularity, while the leader of the Fair Russia Party, Sergei Mironov, and former presidential candidate Mikhail Projorov barely reach one.

Two percent of respondents said they would cancel their ballot, and nine out of one hundred confirmed that they would not attend the vote, while a similar number was undecided if they would exercise their constitutional right.
