CARACAS, Venezuela.- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro remembered as a Venezuelan victory the first anniversary of his victory in the 2018 presidential election.

In a message posted to his Twitter account, the head of State described as a popular achievement the results of polls last year, when he got 68 percent of votes.

On this day, the revolutionary forces march on occasion of the date to Miraflores Palaces, seat of the Executive, and reject the American interference in the South American nation.

Dario Vivas, Vice-president for Mobilization and Events of the political organization recalled that Maduro began his second term because of a universal, direct and secret ballot, and the Venezuelans triumphed and rule with him.
