Lavrov pointed out that Russia is against meddling in Venezuela’s internal affairs.

MOSCOW, Russia.- Russia reiterated its rejection of foreign interference, including a military aggression against Venezuela, and insisted on the need for inclusive dialogue in that South American country.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow is speaking out against meddling in Venezuela’s internal affairs and any other sovereign State, and added that threats do not resolve conflicts.

In the case of Venezuela, we are going to support that nation within the framework of the Charter of the United Nations Organization, and to cooperate to resolve the dispute there on that basis, Lavrov said.

Regarding the relationship with Venezuela, the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized there is a working group within the Intergovernmental Joint Commission for Economic-Commercial and Scientific-Technical cooperation, devoted to technical-military collaboration.
